The AI Atlas is an independent editorial publication that maps artificial intelligence in plain English. Our promise: every factual claim links to a primary source, every guide is dated and bylined, and we tell you where the evidence is thin.

Editorial standards

Our fact-checking process

  1. Primary sources first. Prices, launch dates, usage figures and policy details must trace to vendor documentation, official filings, peer-reviewed papers, or established news organizations. Secondary claims are clearly attributed.
  2. Hands-on testing. Where a claim is about how a product behaves (features, limits, interfaces), a team member tests it in the current version before we publish.
  3. Dated and versioned. Every guide shows its publication date and "last updated" date. When a vendor changes pricing or a study is retracted, we update the guide and note the change.
  4. No undisclosed incentives. We do not accept payment for placement in comparisons. If a link is ever an affiliate link, it is disclosed inline and in our disclosure section.
  5. AI-use transparency. We use AI tools to support research and drafting. Human editors review, verify, and approve everything we publish — accuracy is a human responsibility, not a model's.

Corrections policy

If you find an error, email [email protected]. We correct factual errors promptly, mark the guide with an "Updated" date, and — for substantive errors — note the correction at the foot of the article.

Affiliate & sponsorship disclosure

This prototype contains no affiliate links and no sponsored content. If commercial arrangements are introduced later, they will be disclosed here and inline at the point of the link, and they will never change a verdict in our comparisons.

This site is a static publication. We don't sell data and we don't run third-party advertising trackers.
